We'll use our proprietary fitting software to determine the optimal lie angle for your stance and stroke. No guesswork necessary.

The Dynamics™
Lie Angle & Shaft Length
At Haven Dynamics, we believe the putter should fit the golfer — not the other way around. Many golfers underestimate how much lie angle and shaft length affect the way a putter feels, aims, and performs. These specs may seem minor, but they play a major role in how natural your setup feels and how consistently the putter returns to the ball.
What is Lie Angle?
Lie angle is the angle between the putter shaft and the ground at address. When it doesn't match your natural setup, the toe or heel lifts — affecting alignment, how the putter looks at address, and how consistent the strike feels. A correctly fitted lie angle keeps the sole flat and the face square through impact. Too upright and the toe lifts, closing the face. Too flat and the heel rises, opening it. Even a single degree compounds over distance.
What is Shaft Length?
Shaft length is measured from the top of the grip to the center of the clubface. It determines how far you stand from the ball and where your eyes, hands, arms, and shoulders naturally settle at address. A putter that is too long or too short can cause you to stand too tall, crouch too low, reach too far, or crowd the ball — each forcing compensations throughout the stroke. The right length creates a setup that feels balanced, comfortable, and repeatable.
Why They Work Together
Lie angle and shaft length are connected. Changing shaft length changes your posture, and posture directly affects the ideal lie angle. That is why Dynamics™ Fitting evaluates both together — using visual analysis and physics-based fitting principles to identify a setup that matches your natural motion and stroke.
Haven Dynamics Fitting
Our proprietary biomechanical analysis software evaluates your stance, arm hang, and stroke arc to determine the lie angle and shaft length that best fit your physiology — eliminating guesswork and population averages entirely. The result is a putter you can aim naturally, return to the ball consistently, and roll with more confidence.
